There's no perfect way to use LinkedIn.
Depending on your role and industry, your approach to LinkedIn will have to be unique and thoughtful.
But how do some people generate so many sales from LinkedIn?
|
Are they smarter?
Or maybe they have a better network and more money?
The reason they manage to get more sales is because they've put in the effort to get them.
It's a simple formula that you can adapt for your own sales strategy to get more clients using LinkedIn.
Content + Authority + Outbound = SALES
1) Content
Producing content at least three times a week is the best way to get your value proposition out there.
Only 1% of LinkedIn users post regularly every week.
That means there's a lot of eyeballs and not much to look at regularly.
Create content and let your posts act as fishing rods to catch some clients' attention.
2) Authority
Become the go-to person for your niche and service.
The best strategy is to become the subject-matter expert for the problems you solve.
How does this look like in reality?
Often there are people asking for help on LinkedIn. They ask their network if they know of anyone that can do x.
How do you know if you have authority?
When you get tagged under their post by someone in your network.
That's the benefit of authority.
3) Outbound
Your client isn't coming to you?
Well they probably won't initially if you don't have a large network.
So what can you do?
Go and find them! Use LinkedIn search to find competitors, groups, clients and posts that you can connect with and engage.
Put some effort in every week to grow your network with great outbound.
Follow this three step formula to get your clients on LinkedIn.
