When you're starting out writing content on LinkedIn it can be extremely challenging to find out what works. 

Your content is not getting any views, no one is engaging and hardly anyone is viewing your profile afterwards.

To make matters worse, you spent hours on the content to write it out, find the right words and structure it so that it hooks your audience.

But still:

No engagement.

No opportunities.

No customers.

One of the biggest learnings I had early on was that content aimed at everyone will find an audience of no one.

I started creating content three times a week on random topics I found interesting.

Sometimes one topic did well, sometimes it didn't.

My audience was seeing all types of content coming from me on a consistent basis, but my thoughts were all over the place.

It was only when I niched down, found who I wanted to speak to, and then created content for them did I start to find success.

Of course not everyone will like my content, but I'm trying to grow my business not get a few likes to boost my ego.

Having the right audience vs a random group is the battle, the choice that needs to be made.

Fight to stay niche.

Focus on value.
