I wasn't the only one with this problem.
There's thousands out there who have massive followings and generate big business.
It's no wonder that it seems to the rest of us that the only way to get more clients is through a big following.
TikTok is notorious for accounts having big followings yet they have one huge problem: lack of monetization.
LinkedIn is no different.
It's one thing to have a following, it's another to make money from it.
My belief is that you don't need a huge following to make money.
What you need is a smart system, consistency and a little bit of initiative.
1. Set yourself apart
Become the go-to person and take advantage of the most powerful marketing effect: word of mouth.
Claim your space on LinkedIn, use your voice, be unique.
Your small following will become incredibly powerful.
2. Go find your client, don't wait for them to come to you
LinkedIn has hundreds of millions of users.
I have no doubt in my mind that your clients are out there, you just need to find them.
Fortunately, most of us have had practice as children with hide and seek.
This is no different, but at least you have one of the most powerful sales tools in existence: LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
3. Simultaneously build a following
You only need 1000 true fans to build an incredible business.
Your focus should be on quality rather than quantity.
If you do that, your priority will be correctly focused with quantity as a side-effect.
So in summary:
- Leverage your small network
- Become the go to person
- Go out and find your client
- Focus on quality
